Notes: The Carterìa vineyard covers an area of 3 hectares in the Valgella sub-zone at 500 meters; the name stems from the name of a small hamlet of the commune of Teglio, where the Fay family has always owned some plots of land. The winery has started incorporating this land into its estate and replanting of the vines is in progress. 100% Nebbiolo, (Chiavennasca) trellised in the Guyot style. The vineyard is situated at 550 m asl in the west part of the municipality of Teglio, south exposure of the Valgella, Carterìa vineyard. The soil is Sandy (70%), silty (20%) with an acid pH. The grapes are picked in mid-October. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tank; malolactic fermentation and aging for 12 months in 30 Hl oak cask and 500 lt oak barrels. Aging for 18 months in bottles.
