Notes: The Mt. Veeder Sauvignon Blanc grows at 1,600 ft above the Napa Valley, upon complex beds of rhyolitic tuff, breccia, and andesitic cobbles. 100% of the fruit hails from the estate vineyard. The wine is aged in a variety of vessels, including neutral French oak, concrete eggs, and new french oak.
Aromatically the wine is perfumed with white flowers, citrus fruits, and hints of clay. On the palate the wine has moderate acidity with bright flavors of lemon pith, white peach, with balancing notes of minerality and salinity.
