***CASE10 SELECTION***

NOTES: The Cabernet Franc is 100% estate grown at 2,500 feet on a steep northeast-facing slope. The head-trained vines, now nearly 30 years old, are planted in one of the coolest sections of the vineyard, where evening air settles as it moves down the western slope of the Sierra.

The soils are composed of heavily weathered volcanic material. Compared to the rough, rocky terrain at the top of the property, this site breaks down into a fine, almost powdery texture during the long, dry summers. The well draining soils naturally moderate vine vigor and yields, resulting in Cabernet Franc with both concentration and balance.

Fermented in stainless steel and aged in 100% French oak (first and second fill), the wine shows layered dark fruit with structure and polish. Racked once prior to bottling, it is approachable now while capable of aging 10–15 years. Dark fruit compote, blackberry pie, and cassis lead into a plush, structured palate. The finish is vibrant and lifted,
