Notes: This parcel is located in the Grand Maupertuis in the top part of the Clos, along the superior wall, bordering the Grands Échezeaux. It was bought by Jean Gros in 1967 in the name of his son Michel. The 1985 frost imposed a complete pulling out of the vines and re-planting was carried out in 1987. This dense wine is characterized by very silky tannins and a lower amount of acidity, which makes it enjoyable at a young age.
Aromatically the wine springs from the glass with tart, but still ripe brambly raspberries and blackberries, along with fine new oak scents. On the palate, the wine is red fruit-driven alongside notes of candied orange peel and a spicy finish.
