Notes: In the heart of Barbaresco commune, Gaiun is a parcel of Martinenga, on the western side of the amphiteatre. South exposure at an altitude from 230m to 290m a.s.l. Vinification on skins; ten days fermentation with floating cap followed by 25 days maceration with submerged cap; daily pumping over. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in full. Aged in French oak barriques for 28 months. Further ageing in the bottle before release.
