NOTES: The 2022 vintage in the Willamette Valley, Oregon resulted in Pinot Noirs with excellent structure, great acidity, and fantastic aging potential. A heavy, early season frost had growers worried about loss of crop, but yields recovered for most. The challenges of the growing season continued with cold, wet weather from April through June. This weather pattern delayed harvest about four weeks. Then, one of the warmest Octobers on record brought the fruit to full ripeness around the middle of the month.
TASTING NOTES: Light ruby in color, this wine is layered with expressive strawberry, raspberry, and ruby grapefruit flavors. Subtle hints of sous bois and rose petal accent the fruit profile. The palate is supple and multilayered, with a bright and structured finish set to evolve beautifully over time.
