NOTES: Tyler is the only independently-owned winery in the Sta. Rita Hills with estate holdings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on both sides of the Santa Ynez River. This new bottling is the culmination of nearly two decades of learning from this remarkable valley’s foundational vineyards. In 2021, Tyler acquired Fiddlestix Vineyard, first planted in 1998, immediately across from Sanford & Benedict in the southern corridor of the appellation. In concert with Mae Estate to the north, these holdings privilege Tyler to tell a comprehensive story of the Sta. Rita’s diverse terroir. And it begins in the vineyard. Now, with total control of their farming, Tyler can insure that Mae and Fiddlestix are ushered into the future with respect for the landscape and with the promise of longevity. In this new wine, Tyler has married selections from Mae and Fiddlestix to share with you the complexity of the Sta. Rita as only they can.
