Notes: All fruit coming off of the Hyde vineyard on the eastern edge of Los Carneros where the vines are exposed to winds channeled through the Petaluma Gap allow a prolonged growing season. The vines about 27 - 39 years old and grow upon beds of shallow loam over clay hardpan. The wine sees full malolactic fermentation and ages for 11 months in French oak, of which 20% is new. The finished wine is bottle unfined and unfiltered.
