Notes: Farmed by a friend, Chris Bowland, the vineyard was planted back in 2013 at 1200 feet elevation, just below the top of Bennett peak and high above Bennett Valley itself. The vines, a combination of Syrah and Mourvedre, grow upon beds of Goulding clay loam soil. Though the site is cool, the nights tend to be a bit warmer. The Syrah is 20% whole cluster and spends twenty days on the skins. The wine then ages in 20% new French oak.
